These Terms of Use govern your use of Forkast, published by TBA WESTCOAST LLC under the Arbor Intelligence brand. By using Forkast, you agree to these terms.
Forkast uses AI to identify food items and suggest recipes. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete, so always use your own judgment about food safety, allergens, nutrition, and expiration.
The service and your account
Forkast lets you submit photos of food in a fridge, freezer, or pantry, identifies visible items, and suggests recipes based on what you have.
Forkast has no login screen. On first launch, your device is assigned an anonymous account so preferences and scan history can be saved. You may permanently remove the account and associated data with the in-app account-deletion control.
Forkast Pro subscriptions
- Forkast includes three free scans. Continued scanning after that requires Forkast Pro.
- Forkast Pro is offered at $7.99 per month or $39.99 per year and is billed through your Apple ID.
- Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings. Apple handles refund requests under its policies.
- RevenueCat manages subscription status tied to the anonymous Forkast account and Apple purchase record.
Acceptable use
- Use Forkast only for lawful purposes.
- Do not disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to Forkast or its backend systems.
- Do not abuse uploads or attempt to circumvent scan limits or subscription controls.
AI-generated content and food safety
Ingredient identification and recipe suggestions are generated using AI. Forkast does not verify them for accuracy, nutritional suitability, allergen safety, or food safety. Inspect ingredients yourself and follow appropriate preparation, storage, cooking, and allergy precautions.
No warranties and limitation of liability
Forkast is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or accurate scan and recipe results.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TBA WESTCOAST LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from Forkast, including harm resulting from a food-identification or recipe suggestion.
Changes, termination, and governing law
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Forkast and may update these terms as the app changes. You may stop using Forkast and delete your account at any time. We may suspend access for violations of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law in your place of residence requires otherwise.
